  I was in a pinch needing a place to stay in the Saguenay area and I was a little worried about the quality I would find there. I found Rose-Marie's Les Chalets through an agency website and it was an exceptional place to stay. Very clean, extremely comfortable and unique in many ways. Breakfast was excellent and the bed and room very comfortable. Keep in mind, it can be a little tough to find...its also a bit secluded - the next decent sized town is a 30 minute drive (Alma). The lake is a beautiful setting and Rose-Marie is a great host. Another couple of quick tips...I must have missed the information that it is a cash only establishment...so be sure to bring some. Also, (as you should expect this deep into Quebec) you should know some French. I got by with the little I know, but there wasn't anyone there, other than other guests, that knew English. But everyone was really nice and dealt with the situation beautifully. I would stay again. Une excellente valeur et belle maison!
